With a few short walking trails, Arbor Grove is a good place to stop and stretch out while enjoying fresh air and the incredible beauty of the Avenue.  Sitting about a third of the way through Avenue of the Giants (north to south), Arbor Grove is near many of the Avenue's best stops. 
How to get there:
Arbor Grove is 10.1 miles south of the most northern entrance of Avenue of the Giants.  Check out the map for more specific directions.
More info:
It can get a little chilly in the trees even on a hot day.  Bring a light jacket or sweatshirt. 
Other things to do in the area:
Chandler Grove is just to the north.  If you're heading south, Founder's Grove and the Dyerville Bar & Overlook are also popular stops.
