Redcrest - Chandler Grove

There are two beautiful loops at Chandler Grove that total a half mile in distance.  There is a slight incline but it is manageable for most and the trails are surprisingly peaceful for being so close to the road.  It's not the most exciting stop along the Avenue but its convenience makes it worth doing so.
How to get there:
Chandler Grove is about 9 miles south of the northern most entrance to Avenue of the Giants; a couple miles south of Redcrest.

Other things to do in the area:
The Eternal Tree House is two miles north.  Just to the south is Founder's Grove and to the southwest a few miles; the Big Trees Area is a spectacular and popular grove with some of the biggest redwood trees in California.
