Just north of Myers Flat and along the beautiful northern section of Avenue of the Giants, Williams Grove is a great place to stop for a few hours or a weekend.  With river access and camping for up to 100 people, it's a good time for a few or quite a few.  Be sure to put on your hiking boots and cross the bridge over the river to check out some of the trails.
There are flush toilets available but few other amenities.  However, visitors are able to use those located at Burlington Campground or Hidden Springs Campground.

From Myers Flat, take Avenue of the Giants north about 1/2-1 mile.  Take a look at the map for more specific directions.

The park is open Memorial Day to Labor Day.  It costs $200 to rent this campground.  Call the number above for more information. 
Other things to do in the area:
In Myers Flat, visit the Shrine Drive Thru Tree.  To the north, the Big Trees Area is a pretty incredible place to vist and the Dyerville Bar and Overlook is a nice place for a picnic.  Humboldt Redwoods State Park is full of fun thigs to do as well.
