Located in Humboldt Redwoods State Park, Albee Creek Campground is the ideal place to take the family camping.  Easy access to hiking, biking, nature walks, swimming and other family fun ensures that everyone has something to do; if they choose.  The campground is also perfect for resting and relaxing.
This campground is generally open from May through October, offers 40 sites and is very popular.  
How to get there:
From Highway 101 in either direction, take the Honeydew exit west.  Albee Creek Campground is about 5 miles down the road and will be on your right after you pass the Big Trees Area.

Fees are $35/night which includes one vehicle.  Additional vehicles are $8/night.  This is bear country; all food and scented items must be put in a metal bear locker or in the trunk of your car.
Fun things to do in the area:
Check out our Avenue of the Giants section for lots of cool things to do near the campground.  The Bull Creek North Trail takes you through some incredible redwoods and is right near the campground.
