Camp Kimtu is a small yet nice campground along the Trinity River.  It has 9 camping sites that are all on a first come, first served basis.  The property also has cabins which can be rented for short-term getaways, bathroom & shower facilities as well as a cookhouse that can be rented for events.
How to get there:
From Highway 299 in Willow Creek (near the Chevron Gas Station), turn on Country Club Road and then take a right on Kimtu Road.  Kimtu Road will lead you to the campground.

Other things to do in the area:
Kimtu Beach is next to the campground.  Bring your bathing suit and enjoy the excellent swimming areas you'll find there.  You can also check out the China-Flat Museum or play some Disc Golf at Creekside Park.
