Weott - Cuneo Creek Horse Camp

This unique campground, located in Humboldt Redwoods State Park, is for campers with horses only.   There are individual camp sites as well as family camping and group camp areas that are equipped with picnic areas, fire rings, showers, flush toilets and other amenities. 
How to get there:
Cuneo Creek Horse Camp is about 8 miles west of Avenue of the Giants on Mattole Road.

Camp spots are $35/night and a few extra dollars for additional vehicles and horses.   This is bear country, please act accordingly.  Check the park's Website for even more information.  
Other things to do in the area:
The Big Trees Area is pretty incredible and just a few miles from the campground.  If you decide to head to the coast, check out the Punta Gorda Recreation Area and the trail to the Punta Gorda Lighthouse.
