Hidden Springs Campground is on the south side of Humboldt Redwoods State Park and is close to hiking, fishing, nature walks, swimming and more.  If you want to have a variety of outdoor activities at your fingertips, this is the place to find it.
Located along Avenue of the Giants, there are plenty of things to do in the surrouding area as well.  You won't find yourself bored at this campground.
How to get there:
Hidden Springs Campground is 1 mile south of Myers Flat on Avenue of the Giants. 
More info:
The campground is only open between May through Labor Day.  Each site is $35/night (one vehicle).  Additional vehicles are $8.  Some of the spots can be reserved and you're highly encouraged to do so. 
Other things to do in the area:
The incredible Big Trees Area is across the highway and features an amazing grove of gigantic redwood trees.  If you feel like to taking a trip to the coast, head over to the Punta Gorda Recreation Area and if you're up for an amazing hike while you're there, trek on to the Punta Gorda Lighthouse.
