This remote campground has 5 tent/trailer campsites that are on a first come, first served basis. There are picnic tables and fire rings as well as vault toilets. There is no water available so bring your own or bring a water purifier to treat water from the nearby creek. There are no hook-ups but the area is wheelchair accessible.
How to get there:
From Highway 101 (near Weott), turn west onto Bull Creek Flats Road toward Honeydew. Bull Creek Flats Road will turn into Mattole Road. Follow Mattole Road until you reach Wilder Ridge Road and make a left. The campground will be about a mile down the road on your left.

Arthur W. Way County Park is a fun place for a picnic and some swimming and also offers camping. If you're looking for a challenging but managable hike along the coast, check out the Punta Gorda Lighthouse.
