This lovely grove along Avenue of the Giants offers nearby river access as well as camping for up to 40 people in a beautiful and peaceful environment and can be rented for $135/night. 
The campground comes equipped with picnic tables, fire rings, an oversize bbq grill, treated water and restrooms. 
How to get there:
The Grove is located just less than two miles south of the Visitor Center and about 2 miles north of Myers Flat along Avenue of the Giants.

Campers here are permitted to use the shower facilities at nearby Burlington Campground.  Pets are welcome. 
Other things to do in the area:
Humboldt Redwoods State Park is full of fun activities.  Just north is the Scotia Museum and to the west, enjoy Arthur W Way County Park and the Punta Gorda Recreation Area.
