Pamplin Grove is the group campground within Van Duzen County Park.  The campground can be rented for weddings, birthdays and other special events and is open from early May to late October.
The campground offers nature walks, fishing, picknicking and other activities and also has river access with a great swimming hole.  There are full facilities as well as bathrooms on the grounds.
When Pamplin Grove is not reserved, it is open to day-use visitors.
How to get there:
From Highway 101, take Highway 36 east.  The park is approximately 10 miles east of Hydesville and 2 miles west of Van Duzen County Park proper on Highway 36.

If you want to tent camp within Van Duzen County Park, check out the Swimmer's Delight Campground which also has a great swimming hole.
Other things to do in the area:
Grizzly Creek State Park is just a few miles east of Pamplin Grove.  If you decide to head to the ocean, check out our Beaches section for lots of great choices.  A trip through Avenue of the Giants is always a memorable one.
