Big Lagoon County Park offers camping with many of the sites located right on the water's edge.  There are 25 camping sites and they are all on a first come, first served basis.
The facilities include picnic tables and flush toilets.
Camping spots are $25 a night and there is a host on site.  Dogs welcome.

Big Lagoon County Park has a little something for everyone and is one of the places on the Northern California Coast where you can truly find the peace and serenity that comes with the beauty of the outdoors.  
The Lagoon is a popular area for sailing, windsurfing and kayaking and also offers plenty of places for picknicking, swimming, beachcombing and relaxation.  The area also offers lots of opportunity for hiking; including the Big Lagoon Beach Trail.
How to get there:
Big Lagoon County Park is 7 miles north of Trinidad.  Take the Big Lagoon Park Road exit from Highway 101.

There is a $2 day fee. No personal watercraft or waterskiing allowed.  Beach fires are allowed.

Be sure to visit some of the other Lagoons within Humboldt Lagoon State Park; Dry Lagoon, Stone Lagoon and Freshwater Lagoon
