The Wailaki Campground is located in the amazing King Range National Conservation Area.   There are 13 tent/trailer sites that are on a first come, first served basis.  The campground has picnic tables, fire rings, potable water and vault toilets.  There are no hook-ups.
Camping at Wailaki Campground is $8/night on a self-pay basis.
How to get there:
From Redway, take Briceland/Shelter Cove Road for about 22 miles toward Shelter Cover.  Turn left (south) on Chemise Mountain Road and the campground will be approximately 2 miles down the road.  *The marker on the map above is of the Shelter Cove Road/Chemise Mountain Road intersection.
