There are over 250 camping spots in Humboldt Redwoods State Park.  Albee Creek is the most popular campground and the Cuneo Creek Horse Camp is specifically for people with horses.  There are also dispersed camp spots off of some of the trails which are primitive but peaceful.
Park info:
Humboldt Redwoods State Park is home to the world famous Avenue of the Giants (there is plenty of camping within the Avenue as well) and also offers miles and miles of hiking and nature walk trails, swimming holes, wildlife viewing and so much more.   Fishing and boating are also fun activities within the park.

How to get there:
The park is huge (over 53,000 acres!).  Check out the map to find the place you're looking for.  The Humboldt Redwoods Visitor Center is a great place for more specific information about the park and is staffed by some really cool people.
More info:
Reservations are required.  Contact the park for more information.
Other fun things to do in the area:

The Big Trees Area is a must-visit while on your camping adventure in the park.  The Bull Creek Trail is a good family hike that will take you through some of the biggest coastal redwood trees in the world.
