This 46-acre reserve is home to a variety of waterfowl and marsh birds and a number of rare and unusual plant species.  The reserve is unique in that it does not have any creeks or streams that enter it making it dependent on the rains to determine its fullness.
Wet or dry, it's a nice preserve that offers a peaceful environment and plenty of birding opportunities along a 3/4 mile nature hike.

How to get there:
From Highway 175 in either direction, take the Bottle Rock Road exit and continue for 10 or so minutes.  You'll see signs for the reserve.  Check out the map for more details.
More info:
There are no fees to visit.  Visit the Reserve's Website for more information.
