Elk - Greenwood State Beach

Greenwood State Beach is a nice beach within walking distance of Highway 101 where you'll find plenty of room to stretch out and relax or play by the ocean.  The views of the coastline are pretty sweet from bluff to beach. 
Gunderson rock is just off shore as is Wharf Rock and Casket Rock.
If you're looking for a beautiful beach without the crowds, make a stop here.
How to get there:
The parking lot for beach access is directly across from the General Store in Greenwood.

Other things to do in the area:
Stop by the Artist's Collective in Elk and check out work from artists up and down the coast. Down the coast a little is the beautiful Manchester State Park and just a bit further is Point Arena and the Point Arena Lighthouse.
