The mission of the museum, through its collections, exhibits and programs, is to inspire an understanding and appreciation of the dynamic natural world.  By exploring the museum, visitors are inspired to get out and explore other magical places in northwest California.  
How to get there:
From Highway 101, take the 14th Street exit and head west.  Take a left on H Street (G Street is one-way north), a left on 11th Street and then a left on G Street.  The museum will be on your right.  For other ways to get there, check out the map.
