The Bandon Historical Society Museum is your portal into the interesting history of the area. They have thousands of photographs and exhibits, a gift shop, books and much more for you to view.  
Through specialized exhibits, speakers and other presentations, the museum is a great stop if you plan on spending some time in the area.

How to get there:
The museum is located just off of Highway 101 on Fillmore Avenue SE; a few blocks from the Coquille River.

Just north of Cape Blanco State Park in Port Orford and south of Sunset Bay State Park in Coos Bay, Bandon has it's own beautful parks to visit.  Stop by the Bandon Marsh National Wildlife Area, Bandon State Natural Area or Bullards Beach State Park for a relaxing day while you're in the area.
