This Eureka park is the perfect place to play.  With two tennis courts, two basketball courts and a baseball field as well as a playground for the kids, the park offers a little something for everyone. 
Take advantage of the open grass area to enjoy a picnic, fly a kite or kick/toss a ball around.

There are picnic tables so bring a lunch and catch some sun. 
Other things to do in the area:
Sequoia Park Zoo isn't too far away.  Fort Humboldt State Historic Park is also worth the visit.  If you're looking for some beach time, head out to the Samoa Dunes Recreation Area.
