King Salmon - King Salmon Beach Park

Buhne Drive
King Salmon, California 95503
Northern Humboldt

The park at King Salmon gives visitors a very unique look at the opening of Humboldt Bay and the beauty that surrounds it.  Just a couple of minutes from 101, the park has a trail that runs in a loop giving walkers views of the bay facing south, west and north.  Boat traffic and marine life add a little fun to the experience.
It's a small beach park, relative to other beach parks, but very peaceful and enjoyable.
How to get there:
From Highway 101, take the King Salmon Avenue Exit west toward the bay.  King Salmon Avenue will turn into Buhne Avenue.  The park will be on your right.
More info:
Its amazing views of the bay and coastline make it a great place to take photos.
Other fun things to do in the area:
The Humboldt Botanical Gardens are just south at College of the Redwoods.  Just north in Eureka, check out some of the local Art Galleries and Museums or make a stop by Fort Humboldt State Park
