This small park in Arcata packs quite a punch with multiple tennis courts, bocce ball courts, a playground, gazebo and picnic area.  It's also located right next to the Arcata Skate Park. 
How to get there:
From Highway 101, take the Sunset Avenue exit west.  Take a right on Jay Street and then another right a block later.  The park will be on the right at the end of the street.

Other things to do in the area:
The amazing Arcata Community Forest is a great place for some hiking, Disc Golf and relaxing.  You can also take in some local culture at Arcata Artisans Co-op Art Gallery or one of the other fantastic Art Galleries or Museums in the area.
