Newberg Park is one of two parks in Fortuna with a lot to offer.  There are a handful of softball and soccer fields, a walking path, jungle gym and even a dirt bike park. 
The park also has restroom facilities, plenty of picnic tables and is a great place to relax and play.  
How to get there:
Newberg Park can be accessed from Kenmar Road, 12th Street and Main Street in Fortuna.  Check out the map above for the best route for you.

Newburg Park plays host to quite a few athletic events throughout the year as well as the Fortuna 4th of July Fireworks Show. 
Other things to do in the area:
Another great Fortuna park, Rohner Park, is just a short drive or bike ride away and if you're reading this between August and January, stop by Clendenen's Cider Works for some delicious cider.
