Perigot Park has a baseball field, softball field, bocce ball courts, a playground area, a picnic area and plenty of open grass space.  The picnic area has tables and barbeque equipment.  It's a cool park located in downtown Blue Lake.
How to get there:
From Highway 299, take the Blue Lake Blvd exit and head toward town.  At the round-a-bout, take a right on Chartin Road and then a left on South Railroad Avenue.  The park will be on your right.
More info:
All facilities are open to the public except when rented to private parties.  Call 707-668-5932 or click HERE if you're interested in renting the facilities.
Other things to do in the area:
The Blue Lake Skating Rink is right next door and the Blue Lake Museum is just down the street.  A tour of the Mad River Fish Hatchery is educational and fun.
