The park hosts events throughout the year which you can find out about on its website.
How to get there:
Traveling south on 101; take the Sprowl Creek Road exit and go right.  As you come down the hill on Sprowl Creek Road, the main exit is on your left.  About 100 yards past the main entrance, the road splits.  Take the left turn (don't go over the bridge) and about a quarter mile down the road there is a secondary entrance.
