Van Duzen County Park is located on Highway 36 in the beautiful Humboldt County Redwoods and along the Van Duzen River.  The park offers nature walks, fishing, camping, swimming, picknicking and other activities.  
The park is also home to Swimmer's Delight, one of the most popular swimming holes in Humboldt County.
How to get there:
From Highway 101, take Highway 36 east.  The park is located 11 miles east of Hydesville on Highway 36.
Camping info:
Van Duzen County Park offers tent camping at Swimmer's Delight and has a group campground at Pamplin Grove.
More info:
Both Swimmer's Delight and Pamplin Grove can be used for camping or as day-use areas.
Other things to do in the area:
Grizzly Creek State Park is a few miles further east on 36.  Touring the Avenue of the Giants is a great way to spend an afternoon.
