Just south of Redding, Anderson River Park is a great place to have some fun in the sun along the Sacramento River.  The park features walking trails, both along the river and around a small lake within the park, tennis courts, a disc golf course, playgrounds, basketball courts, multi-use fields, bbq areas and much more. 
How to get there:
The park is just off of I-5 in Anderson.  Check out the map for your best route to get there.

 Fishing in the park is encourged and the park does have a boat ramp.
