This small park in Folsom has a western-themed children's playground that features an old stage coach, general store and road.  It also has a walking trail, picnic tables and plenty of space to spread out in the shade and relax.
This park is best suited for people with children who are planning to visit the Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary, which is right next door.

How to get there:
There are quite a few ways to get there depending on where you start.  Check out the map for your best route.
More info:
Dogs are welcome but must be leashed at this park.
Other fun things to do in the area:
Folsom Lake is always a fun way to spend the day and the Effie Yeaw Nature Center is a pretty cool sanctuary that is in nearby Carmichael. In Sacramento, Discovery Park and McKinley Park are both great parks and if you're heading to Old Town Sacramento, a stop by the California State Railroad Museum is a must.
