Maidu Regional Park is the place to go if you're looking for athletic opportunities in the Roseville area. The park's 152 acres feature a four diamond softball complex, a five field lighted soccer complex, four station batting cage, soccer arena, skate park, full basketball court, walking & biking paths and much more.
There are also plenty of picnic tables and a children's playground for your enjoyment.
How to get there:
From Highway 80, take the Douglas Blvd exit and go east. Take a right on Rocky Ridge Drive and you'll see the park on your left.

The park is also home to the Veteran's Memorial Rose Garden and the Maidu Museum and Historic Site.
Other fun things to do in the area:
Folsom Lake Recreation Area is nearby. The California Museum, Sutter's Fort State Historic Park and Discovery Park in Sacramento are all worth a visit. A day at the ballpark cheering on the Sacramento River Cats is a great time as is attending an adrenaline pumping Roller Derby Bout!
