Disc Golf right on the Bay!  The beautiful 9-basket course is located at Manila Community Park and has a few baskets that are right on the bay. The course is not overly challenging but is a fun place to play.  You won't find many courses with the views and laid-back vibe of this course.
How to get there:
From Eureka; take Highway 255 west toward Samoa.  Once your cross the bridges, turn right on New Navy Base Road and right on Lupin Drive about a mile later.  The park will be 2 blocks in front of you. 
From Arcata; take Highway 255 south toward Samoa.   Take Lupin Drive left and the park will be 2 blocks in front of you.

There are restroom facilities within the park as well as a basketball court and tennis courts.
Other things to do in the area:
Samoa Dunes Recreation Area is just a few miles away.  Head to Arcata and check out the Arcata Marsh. The Humboldt Bay Maritime Museum and the Samoa Cookhouse Historic Logging Museum are both nearby and are cool stops to make while in the area.
