While in sunny Blue Lake, stop by Mad River Brewing and take a tour of the facility and see how their delicious beers (we're partial to Steelhead and Jamaica Red Ale) are made.  You can show up for a tour but they will only give you one if they have enough staff at the time so your best bet is to make a reservation.   Good beer, fun tour; what are you waiting for?
How to get there:
Traveling on Highway 299 East, take the Blue Lake Blvd exit.  At the round-a-bout, take a right to Chartin Road. Take a left on South Railroad Avenue and then a right on Hatchery Road.  The Brewery will be on your right.
Traveling on Highway 299 West, take the Glendale Drive exit and turn left.  Make a left on Blue Lake Blvd and then a right to Chartin Road.  Take a left on South Railroad Avenue and then a right on Hatchery Road.  The Brewery will be on your right.

Other things to do in the area:
The Mad River Fish Hatchery is right down the road and is a pretty cool place to check out.  The Blue Lake Museum and Perigot Park are also close by.
