Functioning as a working lighthouse protecting boats from the Bluffs until it was decommissioned in 1975, the Table Bluff Lighthouse sat on the Bluff for 12 years before being moved to Woodley Island Marina to be shared with the world.
How to get there:
From Eureka, take R Street west toward Samoa.   Take the Woodley Island Marina exit and the Lighthouse will be found within the Marina.
From Arcata, take Highway 255 toward Samoa.  At the light, make a left toward Eureka.  Take the Woodley Island Marina exit and the Lighthouse will be found within the Marina.

More info:
Parking is free at the Marina.  There is also a kayak launch area.
Other things to do in the area:
Take a walk around Woodley Island Marina and be sure to check out The Fisherman, a unique memorial dedicated to those who have lost their lives at sea.   Old Town Eureka and nearby Samoa have plenty of incredible Art Galleries and Museums while the Samoa Dunes Recreation Area is a gorgeous place to check out the bay and the ocean.
