Redding - East Oak Park

East Oak Park in Redding is a nice neighborhood park that has a lot to offer in its just under 3-acre space.  Visitors will find a short walking trail through the trees, picnic areas, a basketball court, playground and more.  If you're nearby and looking for a chill place to relax, make a stop. 
How to get there:
From I-5, take the Churn Creek exit and then make a left on Churn Creek Road.  Look for Arizona Street on your right and the park will be on your right. 
Other fun things to do in the area: 
Caldwell Park and Enterprise Park are both great parks to visit.  Turtle Bay and the McConnell Arboretum are also fun stops and are both near the Sundial Bridge and the Sacramento River Trail.
