Martin Luther King Jr. Park has quite a bit to offer in its 3+ acres.  The park features a playground, swing set, picnic tables, bbq area in a gazebo, baseball fields and lots of grass area where you can read a book under a tree, kick a soccer ball or just relax. 
How to get there: 
The park is located off of Railroad Avenue; almost directly in front of Mercy Medical Center.  Check out the map for more specific directions.

Other things to do in the area:
Caldwell Park and Lake Redding Park are both close by.  An afternoon at Turtle Bay Exploration Park and the McConnell Arboretum are a lot of fun and while you're there, take a walk across the famous Sundial Bridge.  Our Sports & Rec Section is also full of exciting activities.
