The Samoa County Park & Boat Ramp is the gateway to the Samoa Dunes Recreation Area, fishing, nature walks, off-roading, beach combing and more. The camping area itself is small but is very close to the recreation area and is located right on Humboldt Bay!
How to get there:
From either Arcata or Eureka, get on Highway 255 heading south toward Samoa. The park will be on your left shortly after you pass the Samoa Field Airport.

There are no fees to use the boat launch. There are fees for camping. See the site host apon arrival. There are restroom facilities.
Other things to do in the area:
Stop by the Samoa Logging Museum and the Humboldt Bay Maritime Museum for a little local history. The Manila Dunes Recreation Area is also close by.
