Crescent City - Point St. George

N. Pebble Beach Drive
Crescent City, California 95531
Del Norte County

Point George is awesome!  Because of the way the coves affect the currents, winds and other forces, each area of the park offers something unique.  The northmost point features a large (really large!) beach, tidepools and wildlife.
As you explore more of the park, you'll find a variety of trails, beaches, wildflowers and other fun areas that make Point St. George such an incredible place.

Be sure to pack some food as it's easy to spend most of the day at the park and if you're looking for the area's best sunsets, it's hard to beat the ones you'll see from here.
As you travel south along S. Pebble Beach Drive, you'll find Pebble Beach on your right, just south of the S. Pebble Beach Drive / Airport Road / W. Washington Road intersection.  Pebble Beach gets crowded during the day but the sunrises and sunsets and are pretty spectacular from here.

How to get there:
The map shows the parking lot at the north most point, near the airport.  From there (the beach is awesome!), visitors can travel south along North Pebble Beach Drive and there are various other places where you can pull out and visit different parts of the park.
More info:
Parking is free.
Other fun things to do in the area:
Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park features some awesome trails like the Boy Scout Trail.
