This 640-acre park is one of the best parks in Humboldt County. The dramatic shorelines, tree-lined walking trails and spectacular views are only a few of the attractions you'll find here. Whether you're looking for some time at the beach, some peaceful serenity or a popular place to camp, Sue-meg State Park has it all.
How to get there:
From Highway 101 South; take the Patrick's Point Drive exit and follow it toward Trinidad. The park entrance will be on your right.
From Highway 101 North; take the Main Street exit toward Trinidad. After you go under the highway, make the right onto Patrick's Point Drive and follow it for a few miles. The park entrance will be on your left.
Camping info:
The Abalone, Penn Creek, and Agate Beach campgrounds have 124 family campsites, each with a table, stove, and cupboard. Dog are allowed on a leash in the campgrounds, picnic areas and along paved roads but they are not permitted on the beaches or on park trails.

Other things to do in the area:
While in the park, be sure to visit; Wedding Rock, Sumeg Village, Palmer's Point and Agate Beach. Trinidad State Beach is a few miles to the south. Big Lagoon County Park is a short drive north.
