This 39,000-acre park is home to a wide variety of both water and land activities. There are over 70 miles of trails, some leading to the four waterfalls you can find within the park, a marina, an ampitheatre, multiple picnic & barbeque areas, nice beaches with plenty of swimming and much more.
This lake is incredible and Redding road trippers will have a great time visiting here.
How to get there:
If your road trip from Humboldt takes you along Highway 299, you'll pass the lake on your way to Redding.
Camping info:
There are a few campgrounds at Whisketyown Lake; standard, group and primitive. There is also an RV Campground. Each campgound has different amenities so click HERE for more information to find the right one for you.
