Created by a fire and modified since, this is your opportunity to step inside the stump of a mighty redwood tree. This treehouse is a unique stop along the Avenue of the Giants and the grounds where the tree sits are small and cozy and offer picnic tables and other places to chill.
How to get there:
The Eternal Tree House is located just less than 7 miles south from the North entrance of Avenue of the Giants.  You can also take the Redcrest exit from Highway 101.

It is free to enter the Eternal Tree House.  There is also a seasonal Gift Shop and Restaurant. 
Other things to do in the area:
The Immortal Tree is less than 2 miles north.  Take a walk in Chandler Grove; just to the south.
