The Immortal Tree near Redcrest may not be the oldest, tallest or the biggest but it just might be the toughest.  The tree has survived a flood, fires and the cut of a saw yet still stands tall along the roadside of Avenue of the Giants.  Stop by and be inspired. 
How to get there:
If you're on Avenue of the Giants, you'll see the tree just north of Redcrest.  From Highway 101, take the Avenue of the Giants exit in Redcrest and go north.  You'll see the Immortal Tree on your right.

Other things to do in the area:
Founder's Grove is a great stop along the Avenue.  The Shrine Drive Thru Tree is a unique experience and don't miss The Living Chimney Tree and The Eternal Tree House.
