Alpine Park is a small park right along Highway 20 in Lucerne that has a lot to offer; including incredible views.  There is a playground for the kids, picnic tables (some under a gazebo), benches that sit along beautiful Clear Lake and plenty of space to spread out and relax.  A nice picnic out at the end of the pier cannot be beat. 
You can also access the lake from the park if you decide to bring a canoe or kayak or want to go swimming.  
How to get there:
The park is located right along Highway 20, between 1st and 3rd Streets, in downtown Lucerne.  Take a look at the map for more specific directions.

There are bathrooms on site and plenty of parking. 
Other fun things to do in the area: 
Austin Park, Clear Lake State Park and Anderson Marsh State Historic Park are fun parks to visit.  Clarke's Collectables & Lunchbox Museum in Nice is also a cool stop.
