Westport - Westport Headlands

Highway 1
Westport, California 95488
Mendocino County

A nice stop along Highway 1 in Westport, the Headlands offer great views, walking trails and access to Eddie White Beach and the Pacific Ocean.  The park is also host of yearly community events and even weddings.  With plenty of space to have a picnic or goof off around the ocean, it's a stop worth making.
Since these headlands are north of Fort Bragg and Highway 20, they tend to be less populated than other parks in the area and are very peaceful.

How to get there:
Parking is right along Highway 1 in Westport.  Look for some across from Pelican Road.
More info:
Keep the area beautiful, please pack out all of your trash.
Other things to do in the area:
Westport-Union Landing State Park is another fantastic stop in the area. To the south, visit MacKerricher State Park or check out some of the Art Galleries & Museums in Fort Bragg.
