A popular place with swimmers, kayakers, campers, families and those who love to fish, this State Recreation Area, which covers more than 1,000-acres, boasts two miles of Eel River frontage.  There are also over ten miles of trails. 
How to get there:
The park is located off of Highway 101, less than two miles north of Leggett.

The campsites are well equipped and come with fire-pits and other conveniences. 
The campground is open all year-round.
