As you work your way up the Southern Oregon Coast, you'll come across Arizona Beach a few minutes before you get to Port Orford.
Because there are headlands just to the north and south of this beach, there is less wind here than you find at other coastal beaches.   Use one of the picnic tables for a great lunch spot, take a walk along the beautiful beach as the waves crash in front of you or do a little fishing, which is encouraged here.
This beach is day-use only and a great place for families with kids.

How to get there:
You'll find Arizona Beach along Highway 101 about 10 miles south of Port Orford.
Camping info:

There is a group camp site at Arizona Beach that is open to RVs (maximum 10) and text camping.  There are no rv hookups or showers but you can use the ones at Humbug Mountain State Park.
More info:
The pond at Arizona Beach is for youth only (up to 17). There are vault toilets available.  Visit the Park's Website for more information.
Other things to do in the area:
The Port Orford Lifeboat Station is worth a visit while in town.  Just to the north are Cape Blanco State Park and Floras Lake State Park.
