Harbor - Oregon's Largest Monterey Cypress

15461 Museum Road
Harbor, California 97415
Curry County

The Largest Monterey Cypress in Oregon is located in Harbor, right along Highway 101 and just a few minutes south of Brookings.  The sign out front of the tree claims that it's the world's largest which was true at one time.  Now, this 150+ year-old tree is second only to one on the California Coast.
How to get there:
The tree is located right off of Highway 101 a few miles south of Brookings.  Take a look at the map for more specific directions.
More info:
There is a local legend that the ghost of Harrison G. Blake (who planted the tree) still roams the tree.
Other things to do in the area:
The Chetco Valley Historical Museum is right next to the tree.  Crissey Field State Recreation Site is just to the south of the tree and to the north, don't miss Azalea Park and Harris Beach State Park.
