We don't normally suggest too many "tourist" type places that charge money but this place is crazy!  Within the beautiful rainforest right off the highway you'll find 23 life size replica dinosaurs for your enjoyment! 
Take a self-guided tour and be sure you have your camera ready; photo opportunities are almost limitless and fun.

How to get there:
Prehistoric Gardens is almost 17 miles north of Gold Beach and 17 miles south of Port Orford along Highway 101.

Dogs are welcome to take the self-guided tour with you however they must leashed.  For more information, visit the Park's Website.
Other things to do in the area:
A few miles to the south is Nesika Beach.  In Gold Beach, check out Cape Sebastian State Park and the Curry County Historical Museum.  If your road trip take you north up to Port Orford, visit some of the incredible Art Galleries you'll find.
