Humboldt Redwoods State Park is home to Avenue of the Giants and the Big Trees Area; where you can see some of the biggest coastal redwood trees in the world.   The park also offers plenty of camping, miles and miles of hiking and nature walk trails, swimming holes, wildlife viewing and so much more.   Fishing is also a fun activity within this massive family-friendly park.

Camping info: 

There are over 250 camping spots in Humboldt Redwoods State Park.  Albee Creek is the most popular campground and the Cuneo Creek Horse Camp is specifically for people with horses. There are also dispersed camping spots off of some of the trails.
