When you road trip to Redding, one area that most locals would suggest visitors check out is the McConnell Arboretum and adjoining areas which include the Sundial Bridge, Turtle Bay Exploration Park and the Sacramento River Trail.   
The Arboretum is over 200-acres of beautiful gardens and features a number of themes, a nursery, a comfortable walking path and unique art work around the grounds.  It's a peaceful place to visit and in the spring/early summer, the colors are astounding.  

How to get there:
Located in downtown Redding, there are a number of ways to get there.  Check out our handy map for your best route.
