Turtle Bay Exploration Park is one of the gems of the Redding area.  The park features; art, history, science and culture as well as a year-round aviary, arboretum, botancial gardens, nursery and much much more. 
The park is fun for all but will be especially entertaining to road trippers with kids.

How to get there:
The park is located in downtown Redding along the Sacramento River. Check out our handy map for your best route to get there.

Other things to do in the area:
While you're there, be sure to take a walk across the Sundial Bridge and visit the McConnell Arboretum.  The Sacramento River Trail runs along the river in the area as well.
