Phillipsville - Franklin Lane Grove

Franklin Lane Grove is a short half mile loop right off of Avenue of the Giants.  Just north of Phillipsville, it's a beautiful trail that will give you the opportunity to stretch out your legs and get some fresh air. 
How to get there:
Franklin Lane Grove is the first grove you come to once entering Avenue of the Giants from the south.  It's on the north side of Phillipsville.

The temperature drops a little when you enter the trees.  Bring a light jacket just in case.
Other things to do in the area:
The Chimney Tree is just south.  Don't miss the Shrine Drive-Thru Tree to the north in Myers Flat. The Big Trees Area is a must-stop on your Avenue adventure and check out the Humboldt Redwoods State Park section for even more info.
