The Museum opened in 1993 and has quickly become one of the best and most important museums in the area. The museum hosts a collection of Native American artifacts and a rock and mineral display as well as a restored schoolroom modeled after the orginal one of 1877, and a Victorian Parlor. There are also quite a few interesting artifacts from the local pioneers and their early activities in the area.
The museum hosts a number of events throughout the year; visit its website for updates about upcoming events.
