The Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area is 40+ miles of rolling, sculpted sand dunes that are just waiting for you to come and enjoy!  In addition to the incredible OHV riding you can do here, there is also hiking, camping, horseback riding, birding and many other outdoor adventures at the park. 
The park has the Pacific Ocean on the western side and there is also access to the Umpqua River which offers some great fishing.

Other things to do in the area: 
Just to the south in Coos Bay, you have options; Bastendorf Beach, Empire Lakes and the South Slough are just a few of the great places to visit. Check out the Coos Art Museum and the Coos History Museum & Maritime Collections while you're in the area as well.
